Is there any taxis at Peggy Cove? if not, how do i get a taxi? What is the average cost of a taxi to the cruise pier?

i don't know if there are taxis readily available there, but if there were they'd be quite expensive as it's  about a 45 minute to one hour drive to Halifax. I just got an UberX quote estimate of CA$65 .

Which is a good deal but I would be, having been there twice, incredibly concerned about finding an Uber back. This is one of those if I were going by private car I would hire a driver for the day or round trip.
