For Sailings Beginning September 3, 2022

As the world continues to open up, luring travelers to explore their favorite destinations once again more freely, we have updated our health and safety protocols to further align to those of the broader travel, leisure and hospitality industry worldwide. The relaxation of global protocols and travel requirements, makes it easier for guests to return to sea with us. As such, for sailings beginning September 3, 2022, all travelers are invited to sail with us once again, regardless of vaccination status.*

Mandatory Vaccination Requirement for all Adults & Crew

Vaccination Requirements

For sailings embarking September 3, 2022 and beyond:

Guests ages twelve and over will be allowed to board unvaccinated. Unvaccinated guests age twelve and over will be required to show proof of a medically supervised negative PCR or Antigen test taken no more than 72 hours prior to embarkation.

For guests age 11 years or under, no additional protocols or testing requirements apply.

Local regulations may have different requirements to enter certain countries – make sure to check Travel Requirements by Country to understand country specific requirements. Guests may be denied boarding if all country specific requirements are not met.

All ships will sail with a dedicated Public Health Officer on board that will oversee the day-to-day sanitation and cleanliness of all public areas and accommodations.

Contact Tracing

If a positive case of COVID-19 occurs, we have various contact tracing methodologies to identify and notify those who may have been exposed.

Isolation/Quarantine

Dedicated isolation and quarantine accommodations will be available if needed. We follow CDC and Local Health Authority policies and guidance in regards to isolation and quarantine for positive cases and close contacts.

Debarkation Scenarios

We have developed a thorough mobilization and response plan focused on collaborating with local authorities and coordinating safe passage home for all guests and crew should the need arise. We have also established relationships with onshore medical institutions and enhanced our telemedicine consultation capabilities.

I have not been vaccinated and I know I need to do a test at home. I don't want to get the wrong one.

We use E-med. They are recommended as one of the at-home tests on the NCL Sailsafe site. Last time I looked they were $69.00 for 2, and $150.00 for 6. Plus shipping. Don't know if you can buy them at your local pharmacy. They are not available in stores where I live.
