Rare LHT28 Posted September 16, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2022 AFAIK you pay the price it is at the time you clear the waitlist
Cruise Wonderland Posted September 16, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2022 Waitlist with payment = priority waitlist Waitlist without payment = normal waitlist When the priority waitlist is cleared, it will be based on the fare on that day. You will be given a deadline (I think it is 48 hours) to make a decision. If you do not accept the fare, you can decline it and receive refund on the deposit. Unforuntately it is not possible to lock the price when you create the waitlist at the beginning.
Rare pinotlover Posted September 16, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2022 Our October cruise has been “ waitlisted “ in every category for over a year. Waitlisted right through final payment date. I’m now waiting to see what waitlisted means. Will we have a full 680 passengers, 600, or 400? To what capacity is Oceania booking the ships? Time will tell. I suspect a full ship at 100% passenger capacity. People are really wanting to travel.
emd138 Posted September 18, 2022 #6 Share Posted September 18, 2022 Our recent cruise to Bermuda was 96%, so I don't think they are restricting capacity much at all.
