From that list, it seems as though the “Limelight acts’ are a level or two below what they used to be. I am sure they are very good at what they do and will provide an enjoyable evening, but they are hardly household names (as some of them used to be).

I thought the same thing, I wonder if it's because Gary Barlow is on the ship for a couple of days.

Possibly. Gary Barlow may have turned some music lovers away from the cruise (only kidding!).
I guess it has more to do with cost, and artists not being willing to commit themselves to regular 3 or 4 day breaks on a cruise ship in a cabin lacking some of the comforts they may be used to.

Yes, I think you are right, out of the three it would have to be Tom Lister for me as I don't watch the Voice or X Factor, so don't know the other two.

Even though I expect, they are very good at what they do.
