Parking at Manhattan Cruise Terminal

I have never sailed out of Manhattan, but I think the cruise terminal parking is $40 per day. If you search parking near Manhattan cruise terminal on the internet, you will get many options and prices. There is a website call spot hero, there you can search for parking close to terminal. You will see map with different locations and proximity to terminal.

Cruising out of Manhattan is very easy… if you follow all the signs they take you right to the pier. (You take a short ramp up to the parking area where you will be right next to the ship) You can get to the pier and park in the designated section for cruisers then NCL closes the parking… literally closes the gate and your car is extremely safe.. the gate does not open until your ship returns…it’s a very short walk like 1000 feet to the elevator and you take it one floor down I think and you are right there at security…I think 2 years ago it was maybe 30 $ per day…

No tips necessary.  The parking is adjacent to the terminal so you drive up to the terminal, drop off your luggage, and then continue to follow the signs to the parking lot.  The last time we parked at that facility we were required to pay upon entering which was nice because on return it was just a matter of walking to our car and driving out.

We recently parked at the Manhattan cruise terminal for our trip that left on 09/04/2022. It cost 40 dollars per day, so it was 280 for the week. It is very convenient. We paid the attendant who was standing at the top of the ramp that leads up to the parking area. After you pay they have a dog sniff the car before you pull in to park. There are porters right after you pull in with carts that they are loading with the luggage to bring down to the ship. You can briefly stop there to give the porters your suitcases and then park. We made sure our bags were already tagged and ready. Our space was much fewer than 1000 feet to the elevator, which brings you right down to the line for security.

After boarding the ship, we could look out from the pool deck and see our car in the lot, and a nice view of the Intrepid air craft carrier at the next pier.

Actually if you take the ramp to the parking lot you don’t drop your bags, that’s a different lane and if you go that way you will exit onto the street and have to swing around again to go up the parking ramp. I’ve heard there are sometimes porters who have escorted departing guests to their vehicles but we’ve never been lucky enough to run into one in the lot. We just bring our bags onto the elevator.

Thanks for all the feed back. Just booked a room at the Hampton Inn Ridgefield Park. As mentioned they have a Stay, Park and Go package. Includes room, parking for the length of the cruise, shuttle to and from the terminal and breakfast for $289 plus tax..

Thank you for the info. I am glad to hear that they have the shuttle. Last time I was looking to book the Hilton Garden Inn near the Hampton Inn in Ridgefield Park, they no longer provided transportation to the pier. This makes the Hampton Inn a good option if I choose to drive in the day before.

Coming from Cape May County NJ didn't want to chance any hang ups. It 'just a few dollars then parking in NY.

I found this video on Youtube by a blogger about going from NJ to the NY Manhattan cruise port which answered a bunch of questions I had.  Specifically abut the ramp to the top of the parking deck and other stuff.  I was unaware we parked on the top deck!
