Limited seating at wine tasting. Saw only 12 place settings

These smaller events are better in my experience.  During my Celebrity Eclipse cruise, there was a wine tasting event featuring Riedel wine glasses.  It was a small group, was very well conducted, I learned much (and am a believer in the Riedel wine glass philosophy), and the wines poured were excellent.

I thought I would try to post a photo that uploaded 'black' might miraculously appear when submitted, but alas no. Got off the ship early by taking the general population exit instead of waiting for butlers to escort us down via elevators to 'our' separate gangway. Not many passengers get up too early on this cruise. Walked over to the YC trolley station. We were able to join one crew member going to Ocean House. Ocean House was not ready to receive YC guests yet and the all clear to have guests come to OH was not yet given. We explained to the butler stationed at the trolley station that we only wanted to walk around Ocean House and take pictures before it became to hot out and would be taking the first trolley back to the ship. The butler discreetly motioned us to board the trolley with the other YC employee and politely asked the trolley driver to take us over to OH. He began to argue with the butler that he might get into trouble as the 'all clear' was not given. That is when I got out $5 and slipped it to the driver and off we went. (I told him to take the scenic route).

We were slightly perturbed today when we returned to the ship this morning. We were dropped back at the main trolley station and thought we might walk over to the lighthouse for more pictures. As many of you know there is very little shady cover on these walks around Ocean Cay and the sun was getting hot by the time we reached within 50 feet of the lighthouse/bar. We were in need of a bottle of water. We had to stop and were turned back as the 'film crew had commandeered the lighthouse area for the next hour filming. There was no notice given. One had to arrive within 50 feet. Thankfully there was another bar close by. There is always another bar close by on Ocean Cay.

What in the world are they filming and for whom?  I’m not even  there and I’m annoyed 😑

There was an unadvertised special that occurred today, Ocean Cay day. On the ship most the shops were open on the ship offering 20-50% off everything and this special sale was basically for crew though it was extended to the passengers as well. We waited for today to spend our $500 nonrefundable OBC, only because we asked at the Venchi Chocolate kiosk on embarkation day when they would have their sale. Ocean Cay day, 20% off all boxes of chocolates and one can customize the type or types one wanted in the box. DW bought cosmetics. We stopped by the concierge to ask the crucial question (after the fact) just to be sure we did things right. Were our accounts linked? And did we use up all our OBC. The answer was 'yes' to both. Put a smile on our faces that there were no problems that we all read about

Well this was nice. We are home and the Terminal this morning was Terminal E (not F). Still it was a 'hike' to get to Parking Garage C. First there was NO facial recognition at this terminal, though there were 'quite' a few customs officers in booths checking passports. The porter tried to steer us toward using a shuttle to the Garage C, but I was not about to lift DW luggage when we would be 'dumped' in front of the garage and the car was parked on level 3. The porter acquiesced and we began the hike. The parking in front of the garage C was taken up by unattended SUVs, so without a word the porter escorted us and our luggage up the elevator to level 3 and right to our car and he loaded everything into the car. (DW said to me give him $100 tip). It was my turn to acquiesce.

This red warning sign is in post #126 , between cabana #7 and the new shower station. The cabana in the background is #8. There are 13 cabanas in total. The next beach over and fully accessible is just a few steps from cabana #13. This beach is for Aurea experience and I counted 39 cabanas for rent.

Ocean House. Everyone should have lunch at least once at Ocean House. I recommend at least once on the veranda, another inside, then out on the lawn, and then under the trees in the front lawn...... at least once.

Positive expansion of the facility since I was there in 2020!

Meraviglia was docked at Terminal F with my car in Garage G.  The Porter and MSC shore staff gentleman did that for me and both were well rewarded.  The distance was not as far as yours, but, their service was very, very much appreciated by me!
