Move up to Aqua

If move up bid from veranda with cruise only rate to Aqua is accepted will this remain cruise only or will you get all Inklusive ?  Not clear to me as they are only selling Aqua with All Inklusive.

and what about Move up to suites ?  Will you get retreat and all perks ?

If you win a bid for move up you retain the perks you had such as internet, tips, beverage package.  You do not get AI unless you had it originally.  You will get amenities of the new  room.  So a move up to Aqua gives you Blu and other amenities of room.  A move up to a suite will give you Luminae, The Retreat and could be more depending on what suite you get.  You get the Captains Club Points of your original room.  If the move up to a higher category increases the daily tips you will be charged the tips of the new room.  If you already have tips included with original booking you will pay the difference in tips.  
 

Also, once you win a move up you cannot refuse the room, so it may not always be a better room.  
 

On our cruise in April it was cheaper for us to upgrade than to do a move up.  Hope this helps.

Yes.   If you have no drink package or internet you will have the same if a bid is accepted to AQ.  They only change is the room and the addition of Blu.   Points accrue at original booking rate.

Yes this makes sense and was what I expected.  Just became unsure as they do not offer Aqua without perks anymore.

About the only semi difference is that if you win an Upper Suite (RS and above)   You get perks with the room e.g. specialty dining, free laundry and a bar setup.    On an upgrade you get the room perks but would not get the Drinks Package, Tips and Internet.

Did you end up bidding? I’m in the same situation as you. I have a casino cruise where I paid to upgrade from the free cruise to a Veranda. I’m wondering if it’s worth the risk to bid for an Aqua class if I have a great veranda room now (7th deck, mid ship) and worried if I bid, I’ll get a worse Aqua room.
