Tuscan has good ambience and the wake view can not be beaten. Unfortunately were not very impressed with quality of food on both times we had dinner there. Now we only go there for Captain‘s Club breakfast.

When on Beyond in 2022, I found the mattress very hard as well. And for first time since cruising Celebrity ( many times on S Class, only once on M class) I had to request and received a topper which made it more comfortable.

I have no issue with it, especially since it is a small part of the day and adults have plenty of time to swim outside kids hours. Moreover, the kids prices are not cheap on Celebrity and it is unfair if they could not enjoy a swim inside.

If you take that flight, make sure you order a car/shuttle beforehand, taxi line can be very long sometimes.

We preferred Aqua for many years. However for new booking 9 days on Eclipse, we concluded now ca USD 600 pp more for Aqua was not really worth it for us anymore and decided to go with C1 for location. Maybe getting jaded after many cruises and too often same Blu menus ?

When I shared a cabin with my daughter (no status) in 2015, she could accompany me to all Elite Plus events and this was automatic, no special permission necessary.

Just wondering if coffees, teas are still complementary for Elite Plus in coffee shop Al Bacio ?

The last couple of years we have not found any binoculars anymore in Aqua or Concierge cabins, not on Reflection, Beyond nor Silhouette. We did not ask for them either knowing that the quality is somewhat lacking.

For first time since 2009 we have booked with another cruiseline. Celebrity, even with Elite+ status does not tick the (our) boxes anymore.

We were turned off last year on Beyond as well : - extremely loud music and speakers in Theatre, music and entertainment places with decibels way too high - annoying pulsating music EVERYWHERE, even where one just likes to sit quietly gazing at sea or with a book

There were already bad vibrations in certain rooms in 2014 (like 9th floor port, before last banks of elevators). As my daughter was in early pregnancy, it made her even more nauseous. But since ship was full, no change possible. They just brought some choc strawberries, wine and flowers, which did not really help my daughter.

When we had inter European flights included on Swiss in Eco we could not choose seats, not even for a fee. We tried calling and they said changes could only be made thru FBC. At 24 hrs check in we then discovered FBC had reserved the preferred seats with more legroom. And this was the case on the return flight and the next booked cruise as well. Very happy.

Had good and bad haircuts on ships. It really depends who is serving you and how good he/she is, like in hairsalons on land.

This practice of having beach towels supplied in the cabin stopped years ago. They might still do it in the Caribbean As we haven t sailed there lately, can t be sure about that, but on all other itineraries we were on since maybe 6-7 years ago, they don t anymore.
