Forgive me if I did not see, but are there video poker machines in the Casino? Thanks! Enjoy!

I am not the OP, but there are several Game King machines on Oasis, in the smoking and non smoking sections.

I will let you know when I leave the cruise in 2 weeks if it’s up and running or not!

Good Point!

A system is only as good as its weakest link so if some of the wiring is old, and access points are old, there is a limit to speed unless they replace some of that. I hope they updated the behind the wall and in ceiling wiring in 2019 , but hope is not a great strategy.

Fast internet is good on a ship as  I get impatient when downloading things.

It will likely save you time when uploading pics.

Day 7

This all about me mentality is running rampant on the ship.  Most of it I can shrug it off but this lady with a plate full of food and with her kids came up to an officer while I was in the middle of conversation just complained that she can’t believe they closed off a section of the seating area and walked away huffing and puffing.  The section she is referring to is reserved for Autism at Sea and it’s clearly stated why it’s closed off.  Yes it’s annoying that you can’t find a seat when you are ready to sit down right by the section you want to BUT there are plenty of seats available and it would be refreshing to think about someone else just for a second instead of complaining about 15 tables being reserved for Autism at Sea so they can enjoy lunch.

I love your food pictures and admire you but this is why after all my cruises and having been blessed to have seen the world i’m tired of the mainstream ships with thousands of people especially from my hometown of New York. Im tired of them in New York and don't want to see them on a vacation. Only my opinion. Caring for my 89 year old mom with dementia but hopefully will spend our life in Hawaii not that the state doesn’t have its issues too.  That said I love your posts and food pictures and thank you for posting! You are tops in my book.  Mahalo!

Thanks so much!  I usually keep my mouth closed when I see ridiculous things but to be upset about having a small section closed for special needs at the Windjammer is just crazy… she must be having a rough sea day on a cruise!

On my last time on Oasis I overheard a woman in the Suite Lounge complaining to the concierge and demanding to speak to whoever was in charge of the waiters in Coastal Kitchen because I server told her she couldn’t have macaroni and cheese at lunch, which wasn’t on the menu😳 It took all me self control to not tell her to get a life!😂

Is this for anytime? I was in allure in set time and never had to wait!

I was going to ask the same question.

On our last cruise in May,

we had a set time, we just walked in.

The people in line were for the my time dining

wait.

Loving your review and the food pics but could you tell us what the food is! 😀

I think someone mentioned it earlier but I always think the desserts in the WJ look great but they taste so synthetic - not for me! (Which is probably a good thing)!

Enjoy the rest of your cruise x

Just caught up with you now after being away on Anthem for 12 days. 😊

I was interested to see you mentioning the smoke in the casino. On Anthem all indoor areas - casino included - were smoke-free. Smoking was only permitted in two small outdoor spaces, one on deck 5 and one on deck 14. I wonder if it's because she was sailing from the UK and if smoking will be allowed in the casino again when she arrives back in NJ later this month.

I remember thinking how much nicer it was in there without the clouds of smoke.

There’s a line at MDR for AnyTime dinning all the time unless you go late.  It’s going to be bad tonight (first day) and lobster night and semi okay during the cruise.

Set time dinning is more calm and in really recommend that option.  I do not recommend Any Time Dinning!

I can barely get the picture at Windjammer but I will try to snap a picture of the tag if I can …

Hope you had a great cruise!  The smoke in the Oasis is making me cough and when you cough people look at you while I pass through the casino.  I am like you guys are huffing and puffing away and I cough because the smoke is irritating my lung but I am the sick person 😆
