shell2004 Posted October 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2022 We are flying into Orlando the day before our cruise in July 2023. We were hoping to get transportation from MCO to a hotel in Port Canaveral. I'm not finding any affordable transportation from MCO to a hotel in Port Canaveral. I'm thinking our best bet is to use Go Port and stay in Orlando the first night and then have them shuttle us to the port the day we leave. Does this seem like the best option? Has anyone used Go Port in the past and have any advice? I'm also wondering what time we'll arrive at the port? Our shuttle would be picking us up at 10:45am. Any input/information is appreciated. Thank you!!!
CruiserBruce Posted October 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2022 You can get a hotel near MCO that offers a free shuttle to save some money, if need be. Without knowing where you are staying, hard to say the travel time, plus using a shuttle may mean stops at other locations for pickups, and at other terminals in Port Canaveral for dropoffs, so that also slows you down. The drive from MCO to the Port runs about 45-55 minutes.
shell2004 Posted October 15, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted October 15, 2022 We're looking at staying at Cambria in Orlando. Do you recommend Go Port?

JohninDC Posted October 15, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2022 Go Port left many people without refunds when things shut down in 2020. Cruise Connection, Cortrans and Cocoa Beach Shuttle get better reviews on this board. You might also price out a one way car rental which might work out better than per person charges for a shuttle.
MalleyCat Posted October 15, 2022 #6 Share Posted October 15, 2022 We used them in April. Pick up was an hour late (both coming and going). Drop off at the port was awful due to the number of stops that were made. We were 2 hours late for our check in time. It was an awful experience. Totally unorganized. I don’t suggest going with them. There are other companies that provide the same service that have much better reviews. We didn’t believe the reviews, but learned our lesson the hard way. shell2004 Posted October 17, 2022 Author #7 Share Posted October 17, 2022 Bummer! Thanks for the advice. I was hoping it would be good since the price is right.
