Lack of wine onboard

I got off the Valiant Lady last weekend and they were out of most of their inexpensive wines. Some bars I would go to would offer me their least expensive bottle of wine for $50. Loved the cruise, but was pretty annoyed at the wine situation. The few times I did comment on it the bartenders would offer to give me the glass or bottle at a lower price…but I didn’t feel like asking every time I went to the bar. And the bartenders said it had been like that for weeks. Hopefully they restocked for the transatlantic.

It definitely sounds like Valiant has had some issues in the med. Hopefully they get it straightened out when she returns. The distributors VV uses in Miami seem to be handling Scarlet pretty well.

On the TA on Valiant right now.  They are "out" of lots of things.  We kept hearing that they'd be restocking at our various ports before we headed out to sea, but there is no evidence that anything changed.  It certainly wasn't like "we're out of X" and 2 days later they had it!
