cantgetaname Posted October 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2022 For the first time I tried the pretzel and dip at the pub on my last cruise on Ovation of the Seas. The dip was awesome and made me remember years ago when I was young, and my dad and Uncles used to have a dip they would have with chips. Don't know what it was called even at this point, but the dip so reminded me of it. Does anyone here happen to know the recipe or a similar one? Thanks so much. Coralc Posted October 23, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2022 Was it just Sour Cream and dry Lipton onion soup mix dip? That was popular when I was young. ☺️

I think Ranch Dip, is ranch dressing, with maybe just extra spices. (We use it on wings) The Sour Cream and onion soup mix is really good! I'm just speculating, because I have never had the pretzel dip. You could always add a little horseradish. ☺️
Rare pasodancer Posted October 24, 2022 #7 Share Posted October 24, 2022 Original poster - have you ever tried the "zesty" sauce at Burger King (usually they give it out w/ onion rings). Goes great on Pretzels! AND there are plenty of "copycat" recipes out there if you don't have a Burger King in your vicinity. Try it and see if it compares.
