mwolever Posted October 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2022 We last cruised in March 2022. It was below a 40% capacity on the Divina and it was FAAAAABULOUUSSS. I know this cannot continue, and with the lifting of COVID vax requirements I'm assuming numbers overall are rising. What are people seeing? Packed boat? Still seem low bookings? JT1962 Posted October 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2022 I was just on Divina for a 7 & 12 day B2B. They announced 1,850 on the 7 day and 2,250 on the 12 day, however, the ship seemed more crowded, especially in the buffet at breakfast & lunch and on the pool deck. Rare Morgsmom Posted October 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2022 Depends on ship & sailing. We were on the Meraviglia last March and it was a ghost town - about 800 pax. Last month less than 2000 on the Divina though no one will give you the "real" number. The 3 nighters have the highest occupancy, followed by the 7 nighters, then the 4. Rare Hlitner Posted October 24, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2022 Just on the Seashore last week and we had more than 4000! Now that MSC has eased off on their COVID requirements folks have returned. This is also true for the many Europeans who cruise on MSC who no longer face issues getting to the USA. mafig Posted October 25, 2022 #6 Share Posted October 25, 2022 I wonder what the upcoming Seashore (leaving 10/29) is. It's a little different, being 8 days instead of 7. Anyone know?
Bead Pirate Posted October 25, 2022 #7 Share Posted October 25, 2022 The 10/29 (Halloween Cruise) on the Seashore is fully booked according to the travel agents that are coming onboard with our group. This sailing had a heavily promoted gambling event for months (Slot Tournament) with some very nice prizes for the invited guests. We will have group parties, etc. throughout the cruise. Don't forget your costume!

Bead Pirate Posted October 25, 2022 #10 Share Posted October 25, 2022 Not sure how many we have as several shoreside Casino Junket Companies are on board with their folks. Will know more when we get to the welcome aboard party at 5 on Saturday. Are you on board for the tournament as well?
mafig Posted October 25, 2022 #11 Share Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) No we're not with your group. It's just that dh and I like to go to the casino occasionally and I hope we'll be able to get a seat.🤞 Edited October 25, 2022 by mafig
niknot Posted October 26, 2022 #12 Share Posted October 26, 2022 The Seashore sailing from 10/15 - 10/22 was full, based on the signs at the customer service desk. It definitely felt like it.
