We just tried to book a new cruise, utilizing the special 10% offer for Oceania club members. We learned that you do not get the discount that comes with a FCD in this case. Also, you do not receive your Amex platinum benefit either. You also do not get signature promo free gratuities. Can not combine promotions. Penalized being platinum it appears.

if you get it from TA or other promotion  you will just get  $250 OBC   once you reach Silver +

It has been that way for several years now

Do you mean Oceania Club Platinum or Amex Platinum? Not sure I know what signature promo grats are?

We are both. Oceania platinum and Amex platinum. And you sometimes get the $250 and sometimes not if you have AMEX Platinum benefits.

If you are O Club Platinum and the TA (or it’s consortium) “pays” your grats directly or by using OCAPP $, the O Club gives you $250/cabin SBC “in lieu.” If you don’t see it on your O invoice, it’s a mistake. Call TA or O direct if you booked direct to get it corrected.
