Did anyone do the inaugural TA on Vista Class or Mardi Gras? Or any other "newer" ship?

How was the internet between Europe and the US once you were out in the ocean?

Hello! I personally did not but I have a friend that did the Horizon and Vista. At the time they said the internet never lost its connection (unlike the recent Pride TA) but had slow periods at times. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this. I work remote and am planning on working a few days on the Celebration TA coming up and I feel more relieved now that I will at least be able to get and reply to emails. 

 

I would *hope* that the Celebration internet will even be better in the post covid world of ship building.

The Celebration TA was exactly what I was looking at as we just got an amazing offer. I was trying to convince my husband to go on it, but I don't think I am going to succeed.  We went on the Mardi Gras once she was in the US on her second sailing and it was one of my favorite cruises.

The casino requires some Internet to function properly. Expect satellite TV to drop in the middle.

 

It really doesn't matter how much bandwidth is added, demand will saturate it. I would expect a record number of vloggers, bloggers, FB livestream, etc on the Celebration TA.
