bobbismith Posted October 25, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2022 Hello, The ship we are going on is the Paradise. My question is how does Carnival decide a cabin can accommodate a trundle? Is that cabin bigger than the one it is connected to? Thanks, Bobbi
Pyxie Posted October 25, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2022 I don't really know, but when we were on the Ecstasy in March, which is the same class, our 2 upper pullman interior room did have a trundle under the main bed. We used it instead of one of the pullmans because it gave us more room (and we have a kid who is afraid of heights and hates being on the top bunk). I've seen one and to me for a kid, not a adult. They arent as big as a roll away, regular single bed for instance. Shorter.
Rare PrincessArlena'sDad Posted May 29, 2023 #5 Share Posted May 29, 2023 We had one on the Paradise years ago, it was fine for our then 3 (almost 4) year old. It wasn't much bigger than him. The cabins are not bigger than other ones. The muster station assignments essentially determine which cabins can have 5. With the trundle on the floor, it was very difficult to walk around the room. And, if you have the two pullmans down as well, it can be a very tight squeeze in the sleeping area.
