Carnival phone lines a mess right now!

Trying to call and confirm that the 2 cabins I've just booked are connecting, and the first call wasn't picked up, but I could hear agents having a conversation among themselves in the background.  The 2nd call also wasn't picked up, and then after a minute connected to the post-call survey.  The 3rd call is just dead air, with no hold music.

You should be able to see if your cabins are connecting on the deck plans.  I've pasted an example.  The little white triangles that I circled indicate that those staterooms are connecting.

You can see the deck plan for any Carnival ship on the Carnival website. Each deck plan denotes which cabins are connecting. No need to call anyone.

Seems you would want to confirm BEFORE booking if it is important to you.
