Swim Diapers in Pirate's Cove Aquapark?

Looking at booking a cruise on the MSC Seascape next year and wondering if my 1 year old would be able to play in the splashpad area while wearing a swim diaper. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge/experience?

I wouldn’t want my children wading in water with other children wearing swim diapers. No offense intended but it’s just not sanitary. Hence the rule.

I know some ships have separate areas for very small kids who are not yet potty trained. These areas are on separate and chlorinated water supplies. I was just wondering if anyone knew if MSC had these areas since there is so little information online compared to most other lines.

On a Disney cruise it seemed like the childrens pool was shut down everyday because of a tyke discharging something. They would dump about 15 gal. of chlorine in it and open it about 4-5 hours later. Not the kind of soup I would let my child swim in!

Ahh gotcha. Well when we were on Seashore I did see little ones in one of the splash areas that was different from the others but I didn’t get close enough to the signage to know what it was.

On my cruise last year I took my 1.5 year old.  I had him in swimming diapers and shorts and he was just fine.  No accidents.  No one asked or said anything.  Maybe I was a jerk for it or just lucky nothing happened, but he was in the water at least 10 times on board during our week cruise.
