latserrof Posted November 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2022 My wife had some goodwill FCC (from one of our COVID-cancelled cruises) that will expire 12/31/22 so we used it to book a December 2022 Mexican Riviera cruise, applying it to both of our fares -- we had confirmed with both Princess and our travel agent that my wife's FCC could be used to cover both our fares. Now my wife does not want to cruise because of COVID concerns, but I would still like to go on this cruise. So the question is: can I still use her FCC if she doesn't sail? I know it's a question for Princess and/or our travel agent, but before calling them I would like to have some input from fellow cruisers. We had similar issues with FCC's for the same reason and that entirely paid for our upcoming 20 day cruise. DH recently had foot surgery and hope that he is "released" for travel. One of my concerns is that I show up, they let me board, then they tell me my wife's FCC doesn't apply because she's not sailing so I must pay the current solo rate, whatever that is.
