Adding Email to my signature

I would like to add a link with my email to my signature.  I did have it there, but my email changed.  Now I am no longer able to do it.

Can someone help me by giving me the directions to put a link to my email back into my signature?

I would recommend highly NOT putting your email in your signature.

I know I can edit my signature, it just does not appear to allow one to insert an email link.

So you want to be able to start a user's email client? This would be a serious security hole. Can you not just include your email address? (Although I'd suggest writing it in a form that requires a human to translate so that bot harvesters will not pick it up, e.g. myemail at somedomain period com.)
