Rare Cruiser1862 Posted November 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2022 I am not a foodie and am generally pleased with cruise food. We enjoy breakfast and an afternoon snack then dinner. By breakfast I should clarify we don’t like formal sit down eggs/bacon etc. What we do like are muffins, croissants, bagels, smoked salmon and fresh fruits. I read somewhere yesterday where they complained that the ships (specified Dawn and Jewel) disappointedly did not have bagels and smoked salmon. This is our first NCL cruise. RCI, which we are more familiar with do have these items. Can anyone who has sailed recently verify this for me? Thank you
Rare Cruiser1862 Posted November 16, 2022 Author #2 Share Posted November 16, 2022 After a lot of digging I found my answer. I believe it’s only in the MDR that you can get a bagel and lox (smoked salmon)
meyermtacmj Posted November 17, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2022 If true, this will make me sad. I LOVE grabbing a bagel and smoked salmon from the buffet!! Cruising on Dawn in January, after having just cruised on her last March/April.

Rare www3traveler Posted November 17, 2022 #5 Share Posted November 17, 2022 If you don't find bagels and lox, ask the food and Beverage Director or the Restaurant Manager.
