Quickest Way to Front Street

I have a appointment at 8:30 near Captain's Hodge Wharf and the ship disembarks at 8.  What is the quickest way to get to front street? It looks like a 20 minute walk  (rough estimate) from the cruise ship to front street.  A boat water taxi looks like an option.  Does the water taxi go to Captain Hodge Wharf?

Taxi from port.   Captain Hodge wharf is in the middle of the beach front, usually 2nd stop on watertaxi after the main pier on the western side, where most people head toward.  But be advised the ship may arrive at 8AM but not likely to debark immediately.  And is that arrival time St Maartin time or ship time?   Unless your ships shifts to Atlantic Standard time 8 AM is 9AM in Phillipsburg.

The taxis at the port are at the far end of the port and shopping area, several minutes walk including the long pier.

It's hard for me to walk long distances so are there pedi-cabs from the cruise ships to the taxis?
