yancycruiser Posted November 30, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2022 We are sailing on Radiance of the Seas in January 2023 and have several questions. 1. Is it first come first serve for all evening shows? 2. Are they strict on boarding times at Julia St terminal? 3. Do they still have seating areas for Diamond and above? 4. What time do they allow you to enter the terminal? Thanks in advance. Yancycruiser

Yes, any show which doesn't have reservations (none do on Radiance class ships) is like that.

RoyalGreek Posted December 1, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 1, 2022 We just did a back to back on her so here are the answers to your questions. 1. First come first serve. It will not be an issue at all. 2. You can arrive to the Julia St port about 15 min prior to your sailing time. If you are coming in on any early flight or have no place to go prior to your boarding time you can hang out at the Riverwalk Mall/Shops that is attached directly to the port. You take an elevator up to the mall. Lots of shops, food and places to relax. 3. Honestly we did not look. The shows were never crowded. We are Diamond Plus. Also if you enjoy music, they currently have the best musical group in all of Rccl on board now. They are called “Top Notch Band”. We have sailed with them a lot and have become very good friends with them. When you see them please tell them that the Mayor and First Lady of Coco Cay said hello! Here is a picture of the band.

What happened to having to board at least 2 hours before sailing? I don't think you are getting on if you show up 15 minutes before sailing time. RoyalGreek Posted December 1, 2022 #7 Share Posted December 1, 2022 Sorry, did not mean to post that twice. Not sure what happened. Anyway I meant to say boarding time and not sailing time on my second response. Yes you won’t be going anywhere showing up 15 minutes prior to sailing. 🤣

If everyone arrives at 10:42 there will be lines. I remember lines and the big sections of seats in the boarding hall. Boo hiss. And a hint just texted: Stick to your scheduled check-in window for your Royal Caribbean cruise today!
LeeReads Posted December 1, 2022 #9 Share Posted December 1, 2022 I'd love more current info on the Radiance of the Seas. We go in 17 days! Movies playing? What type of shows/entertainment? Theme days? And ANYTHING else you'd like to share. I'm on the Dec 17 group---- but there isn't much there as to what is going on right now (within the past few weeks). Are there shows? Thanks for the info about the music group. Any "hidden gems" --- things to see/do on this ship. I REALLY Appreciate any current info. Thank you so much!!
