I was wondering if anyone could share information/pictures of the fitness center on the Venture.

At 13:32 in the below video it shows the adjacent motion studio which has lots of space for yoga / stretching and also one multi-function weight machine. Venture’s gym setup is very much superior to Silver Endeavour (which was too small / poorly laid out / narrow in our opinion).

Realise this is an old thread, but I found it when I was researching the gym so thought I would provide an update. Just came off the Seabourn Pursuit and these are the facilities the gym has:

• 5 treadmills
• 2 ellipticals
• 1 seated and 1 regular cycling machine
• 1 rowing machine
• Dumbbells from 5lb to 50lb in 5lb increments. With two benches.
• A combo chest press & overhead press machine with weight from 10-120lb
• Leg curl/leg extension machine with weights from 10-120lb

All good quality and well maintained but shame it is more focused on cardio with minimal weights or machines.

What do you want to know? I spent 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day there, often with the entire space to myself.

I was on the Venture a few weeks ago.  The fitness center is a compact space that has the basics. Compared with my experience with bigger small ships such as Oceania and Crystal, the major difference is that it has fewer lower body machines. The view is lovely, although some equipment faces a solid wall.  There is an underutilized studio space for exercise classes down the hall that in hindsight might have been better utilized to expand the main workout space.

 

One of the things I appreciated was that the fitness center on the Venture was open 24/7.  I believe this was the first ship I have sailed on with such expansive access.
