Marymcgol1 Posted December 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2022 Thinking of upgrading from mini suite, but have a few questions 1) is balcony bigger than mini suite? 2) Does bathtub have a shower or can you only shower in shower stall? 3) Is shower stall spacious or “tight” 4) Is one deck preferable to another for these forward suites any other pros/cons to consider? thanks Mary
tcdcruiser Posted December 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2022 FYIY I’m in a Penthouse Suite now and the bath tube does not have a shower head. The shower has both a shower head and a shower handheld.
nini Posted December 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2022 The balcony is NOT necessarily bigger!!! Do your due diligence and look at the deck plans on the Princess website. We love the Regal and usually book an aft balcony with one of the larger balconies.

We would avoid deck 12 if we had a choice as there is an overhang above the balcony which felt a little oppressive. One Pro is the proximity to Sabatini's (for Suite breakfast) and The Sanctuary. One Con is they are at the other end of the ship to the wonderful Concierge Lounge. Here are some stateroom pictures from our cruises: The balcony furniture varies depending on the ship - these are the chairs we had on Regal Princess: Edited December 14, 2022 by dides
FritzG Posted December 15, 2022 #5 Share Posted December 15, 2022 We love suites for the large shower and the two sinks. For us the bathroom layout and Sabatini's breakfast are the top amenities.

Not really 2. Yes. And bigger sink counter. 3. mini suite has combo shower/tub. Shower head is adjustable height and is also a handheld. 4. Don’t know. We choose mid-aft Baja deck. lastly, once you go Mini you won’t go back to regular. 😀

I misunderstood the question.
