How far in advance is sailing can I book specialty dining?

There doesn't seem to be any straight answer to this unfortunately.

There is another similar thread and some people are talking about having made dining bookings for 2024 cruises, while I cannot access the same for late 2023.

 

I have been told 90 days by Celebrity, 12 months by my TA but none of this matches with what others are saying on these forums?

As soon as they become available in your Cruise Planner. We are on the Beyond in couple weeks and I booked two SRs months ago. At least one is sold out now.

If you buy a package like 5 nights then you can’t book until onboard

Thanks, I am aware of that limitation, but I believe that you can make dining reservations without having a package? You just don't get the discounted dining.

I was able to make a reservation in Murano back in October, our sailing is next September.

I guess simple answer is as soon as they open it on the ship.    I've seen it anywhere from a year in advance down to 2 1/2 months.

 

Having said that.   We couldn't get a reservation for first night on Murano but was told from a guest that dined there on first night that the dining room only had 3 tables with guests.  They had a 8:30 reservation which was what we would have requested.   Probably lots of cancellations.  Recommend checking upon boarding if unable to book.

I was just able to book dining for a cruise next October.  When you go to Manage Reservation, make sure you scroll down (past the flights section) and click on "Dining Packages".

 I just booked us a 6:30 PM reservation in the Tuscan Grill for Night 5 of our November 2023 sailing on Millennium.
