14 Day Carnival Journey

Anyone know how many formal nights there are on a 14 day Journey cruise ? What about main dining room menus ? We've been on 7 or 8 day cruises before but 14 days is all new and not sure what to expect. Can't wait !!

There are two elegant nights and one throw back 80's night where people get dressed up as it used to be in the 80's

The dining room menu has added days with some different menu items not typically seen. It's been awhile but I remember absolutely loving a blackened catfish they had one night.

We had 3 elegant nights on our journeys cruise in 2019, and the menus were a combo of the 8 nt and 6 nt I think.

I think we had 4 elegant nights on our 14 day cruise couple years ago just before Covid.

Just got off a Panama Canal cruise. There were 2 elegant nights and 1 Captain's Dinner (or something like that). People were the most dressed up for the Captain's Dinner. Moderately dressed for the 1st elegant night, and hardly at all for the final elegant night. The menus were different every night-no repeats.

It's sounding as though there's some variability to dining on Journey's cruises. 

 

We did a 15 day San Francisco to Hawaii cruise last September and there were three elegant nights.

 

I don't remember much about MDR menus other than the fact that there were a lot of good choices and I most definitely didn't go hungry.
