If you dont mind, after the cruise if you could share which room that large balcony is found.  I always search for those types of rooms when booking.

Yes, will gladly share with pictures when it allows me to upload 🙂

Does it feel crowded at 2900? Just curious how the following cruise will feel at 2600.

Thanks

Janet

It does at the pool - even on the port day yesterday.  It can also get crowded at popular venues, like Cafe Al Baccio.  However, we were able to get seats at the pool yesterday.  Today, we had to go to the Solstice Deck to find 2 loungers.  There are also quite a few teenagers that are a bit rowdy at times, but overall it is not too bad.

Happy 2023!

We still have some Christmas decorations to enjoy:  TIP:  If you want to take pictures of the decorations, don't procrastinate.  They took down the gingerbread display today (official day 3, since I am behind on this 'live' posting)...

We enjoyed our first Captain’s Club Breakfast in the Tuscan Grille.  I love the small, fresh bagels.  Since we don’t get the drinks packages, we appreciate the free options.  This morning’s selections included Cafe Latte and a Bellini.

For this port, we just hopped off the ship for a quick picture.  We have done a scenic tour in the past.  Nowadays, we mostly cruise for the ship, so we don’t get off much, unless it is a nice private island.

TIP: If you enjoy catching a family picture with the ship in the background.  Nassau can be a great place if the ship is on the right pier.  This time, we were lucky to get a nice spot without foot traffic to get the tripod set up for a selfie.

Casa Blanca:

In 2012, we noticed this house for the first time.  There was a party, complete with a helicopter bringing people in.  Today, it is abandoned and looking worse every time we visit Nassau.

We received an invitation in our stateroom to join the Elite event - helipad sail away.

TIP: If you receive this invitation, try to get to the meeting point about 15 minutes early so that you can get to the helipad in the front group.  We were being patient and joined the back of the line, just to find the railings had mostly been filled up and we could not see the water.  It was still a fun event and they served champagne and mimosas.

Thanks for this ADPMOM!  We are sailing Reflection in a couple months and this is very helpful.  Any chance you could post the Dailies? Do they still call them "Celerity Today"?  It was said I could find them in the Celebrity App but I can only see things about our sailing and no dailies.

Captain’s Club Happy Hour:

We went to the happy hour for the first time tonight.

TIP: They do not have happy hour on boarding day.  They do allow you to bring two 750ml bottles of wine onto the ship.

We do not buy any drinks packages and only pay for the basic cruise with no perks.  So, we still appreciate and enjoy the happy hour.

Apple Martini for tonight:

TIP: Although they say that you can not order for happy hour in the restaurants, you can order from the buffet bar at happy hour, so I grabbed a glass of Merlot tonight.

We decided to enjoy dinner in the Garden Cafe Buffet, since it is more convenient and the food is very good.  My favorite find tonight was the corn soup - once again one of the most delicious soups I have had:

The Fried Egg Flower (That is not the official title, but it looks like one to me…LOL):

Celebrity Showtime: The Boy Band Project

The Boy Band Project (to me) was a hilarious exaggeration and presentation of boy bands.  I don’t know if they intended this as a comedic performance, but I laughed quite a bit at the antics.   Although I did not know all of the bands and songs, it was entertaining.  To me, it was worth watching one time, but not something I would repeat.

TIP: Even with such a high passenger count, there were still plenty of seats left by the time the show started.  We arrived 30 minutes early to get good seats.  There were still great seats left by 8:50 for the 9 PM show.
