Hi

If walking to a Princess ship at terminal 2, where exactly (with photo or map if possible) do you enter the port?

Is there a walking entrance from 17th street?

Carry on luggage only and walking not a problem.

Thank you for any help provided.

I would just walk south on Eisenhower Blvd to a left on S 20th St at the Heron Garage (you can't miss it since there is a multi-story mural of a heron on the side of it).  Follow the road the length of the garage and terminal 2 is in front of you on the left (terminal 4 will be on your right side).  It is about 1/2 mile from the intersection of 17th Street and Eisenhower Blvd.

This is pretty much the only way currently due to the convention center construction going on in the area. From Eisenhower and 17th to Terminal 2 is about 600 meters on level ground. There is a sidewalk most of the way, until you hit 20th and turn left towards T2, then there MAY be some construction going on which may compromise the sidewalk. It was like that when we drove to T2 for our November trip. The whole route is easily visualized on Google Maps/Street View

This is the route The Google uses from the Holiday Inn Express:

As @lx200gps noted, there is massive construction going on along the entire southern leg of that route (a new 29 story Omni hotel and a second convention center building) for the next 3 years (which probably means longer).  I passed by on a boat 10 days ago and it is a large and active building site.

And, looking at the Google route, I don’t believe you can get around going past the security gate at Eisenhower.

The security gate on Eisenhower Blvd was moved years ago to south of S 20th Street so access to terminals 2 and 4 and the Heron garage are outside the security perimeter.
