omeinv Posted January 12, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2023 For years it has been the case that solo bookings will not show GTY rooms. Consequently if the low price is based on a GTY room, if one goes through the booking with one passenger, it will show the lowest priced specific room, but not the GTY price. If a solo wants a GTY room, the Revenue Department at Celebrity has to manually created the booking It's a simple enough process, but does require a phone call. Yes it often is cheaper to book for two, I sail solo sometimes and my expereince is it is almost always cheaper. Unless you can find a special solo rate but apparently they go fast.
