NCL Cabo Tender Experience?

Hello:

I had a couple questions about the tender experience onboard the Bliss in Cabo.

1) Is it first come first serve to reserve your tender tickets? Do you just do that at the kiosk?

2) Our ship does not arrive in Port until 11 am; I assume the earliest tour we should book is 1 p.m. to allot for tender time? Do you think a 12 p.m. tour would be too early? There's a few interesting whale watching/pirate ship tours (non-NCL excursions) that look great but the latest time they have would be 12 p.m...just not sure how fast we could tender (we have a 4 year old in tow as well).

Thanks!

To an extent, yes.  Yes, you can book your tender tickets on the screens on each deck in the stair lobbies.

Your experience may differ from mine - when I stopped in Cabo (on the Bliss actually) we were the first ship in port so ALL of the tender boats in the port were servicing our ship.  It was quick and easy to get off the ship and to shore, possibly even by 7:30 or 8 AM even with a private excursion rather than a ship excursion.  I think they had 3 tender platforms operating on the ship.

We took a Norwegian excursion in Cabo so the tender process was quick and easy.  If you didn't have a ship excursion, you were advised to get a tender "ticket" which would give you a time to get off.  It was a very short boat ride from the ship to the marina and they had plenty of tenders running.

You pull a tender ticket from a touch screen kiosk or your stateroom TV.

The ticket time is when you can join the line. It does not guarantee that you will disembark at that time. Make sure to get in line early. Everyone with an NCL ShoreEx ticket and many passengers with priority disembarkation status (Latitudes, Casino) can join the line at any time,,, and most will want to get off quickly as soon as you get to port (they have the same idea as you).
