There are HoHos that go to the cruise docks in Pireas but its a separate circuit/line than the bus that does the main sites in Athens proper-- you'll have to transfer busses when you get to the city. The docks in Pireas are about 20-25 minutes from the center of the city proper and can be a tad longer with traffic.

In 2019, we took the Athens HOHO bus.  Princess canceled the only excursion I was interested.  I thought we might just do HOHO that does around the port at €15.

Keep in mind that there is no "Princess Dock" in Pireaus.  There are two separate port areas (about a 10-15 min walk between the two areas) and each port has multiple piers.  You can check the ports web site or perhaps with Princess to find out the assumed docking position (which could always be changed by the port),  Depending on your actual pier it could be a hike to the HoHos or a relatively short walk.  However, even the closest port facility does involve a walk to get out to the main road and to the bus stop.   This is not a situation where you simply walk off the ship and the bus stop is next to the pier.

Thanks for the  information, that is why people on CC are so helpful to answer questions.

 

I have only disembarked in Rome and went direct on a post Princess excursion.
