Sasue1 Posted January 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Our ship is docking at Cannes. Can anyone recommend a tour from Cannes to Eze without stopping at the perfume factory? Thank you!
Rare marazul Posted January 21, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2023 If you take a private tour you can specify what you want and don't want to see. Check https://www.friend-in-france.com/private-tours
edinburgher Posted January 21, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2023 As most ships will anchor and transfer you ashore in tenders, if booking a private tour you would need to allow extra time for getting ashore and for the return to ship by tender. You could check your Roll Call to see if anyone has already booked a private tour and looking for others like yourselves to share. Or if you find a tour yourselves, ask on the Roll Call if anyone wants to share with you to reduce the cost pp.
Rare Hlitner Posted January 22, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 22, 2023 The easy answer is to simply rent a car at Cannes (have done this many times) and drive yourself to Eze Village or anywhere else you please. While I prefer St Paul de Vence to Eze, they are both great places to visit on a port day. A working Smart Phone provides a decent GPS guide and driving in France is not overly difficult. There is a very convenient parking lot right in front of the entrance to Eze, and if would decide to drive to St Paul de Vence there is an indoor/underground parking garage close to the main entrance. The other alternative is to join with a few others (using the Roll Call Board) and organize a small group tour as mentioned in another post. Cambria2 Posted February 27, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2023 You might try Getyourguide.com. we were able to book a private tour for 6 people from port of Cannes. They will pick us up @ the port & we are able to choose where we want to go. I picked a 4 hour tour since our grandkids (14 & 16) would probably not want an 8 hour tour.
