Miami airport to Fort lauderdale hotel transport

Hi all,

 

I'm travelling to Miami international airport on 3rd March and need to get to Fort lauderdale beach hotel. Will be cruising from Port Everglades.

 

I was wondering if any tips for transport? Is bus/train or shuttle service an option or just taxi/uber.

Train is an option...discussed here from time to time. But the easiest in Uber/Lyft.

Just took an Uber from Miami airport to Ft Lauderdale hotel downtown last night. It was during rush hour so there was traffic and the fare was $58. They pick up right outside of baggage claim across the street.

TRi-Rail is an option for about $5 each as long as you can handle your own bags.  Call your hotel to find out which stop is closest to your lodging - you'll need a taxi/Uber/shuttle for the last couple of miles.
