NYC - boarding GETAWAY

We are booked for a cruise in March.  We are all being transported via car service to the pier.  We are Haven guests; the other couple is not.  Can we all at least enter the terminal at the same time (even though we are all not Haven guests)?   We have not yet been able to register for cruise docs, as that does not open till 21 days prior to cruise.  If we are not able to all get the same boarding time online; can the later people at least get into the terminal, but not the seated waiting area?  This did NOT seem a problem in prior years before covid.  What is the earliest time we can expect Haven guests to board.  It was previously around 10:30 to 10:45 in prior years out of NYC.  Any recent experiences with boarding in NYC would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for answering my questions and smooth sailing to all!

Everyone enters the terminal together.  Haven is not separated until after security before check in, so no issues getting in together.  From what I have heard and seen, no one is checking boarding times or turning people away if they arrive at the wrong time.  I've not sailed out of NYC since well before covid, but 10:30 ish does seem to be safe assumption for Haven boarding.

Been out of NYC 4 times in last year.  Like @laurabegorrahsaid, show up together at the pier, but once you are in, the Haven folks are steered into shorter lines, private waiting area, and escorted to the Haven lounge.

So, enjoy the perks - say "see you later" to the others in your group and meet them on the pier at the end of the cruise when you disembark....just kidding 🙂 .

So even if we sign up for different boarding times  -  they WILL let us all in the terminal in even if second couple has a later boarding time.  It sounded like we have to select a boarding time when we register online at 21 days out.  Thanks!

Just off the Getaway 12 day out of NYC. We arrived at the pier around 9:30am. They did have people checking boarding times for at least a few minutes I saw. I watched a number of people get turned away and told to come back closer to their check in time. I said we were in the Haven, showed them our paperwork and they directed us to the Haven line for security. Quickly went thru security.... yes one of the lines seemed to be for Haven only, didn't really matter because they all move fast. Haven check in at least when we sailed was almost all the way back on the left side. The Haven holding room was right across from it

Thanks for the information - I know Haven boarding is a snap with snacks and drinks waiting to board.  I just wanted to be sure that our friends could at least enter the terminal - no problem waiting to check in - just as long as they can at least enter and not be outside.
