Rare Laszlo Posted January 25, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2023 Is the bed in the second (small) bedroom OK for (1) adult? Thinking about booking this cabin for myself, my wife and my cousin. Cousin has never cruised before
Rare Peachypooh Posted January 25, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2023 I have toured the two bedroom on the Jade and it is fine for an adult. Just be aware there is no window but there is a full bathroom (just shower)
complawyer Posted January 25, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2023 yes, its ok for an adult. the sofa opens up for a more comfortable bed. my friend often travels with my wife and i. we get the 2 bedroom (were on the jade 2 bedroom last april) and shes perfectly happy with the 2nd bedroom. remember, that the 3rd person sleeping in the 2nd bedroom, gets all the perks that come with a suite. so, in actuality, all she was using the 2nd room for was sleeping. we all shared the main part of the cabin equally. Russiamomm Posted January 26, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2023 Haven’t been on the Jade, but did travel on the Joy in a 2 BR suite in the Haven. The second BR is perfectly fine for one adult. I traveled with a friend. She had the small room and was happy as could be. This is not an issue. Enjoy your trip!
DorothyB Posted January 26, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2023 We were in the 2 BR Haven Suite on the Pearl last June. My room was the small bedroom. I had them make it into a bed and leave it that way. I was totally fine with that room and it was nice having the private bathroom.
ClarkBHM Posted January 26, 2023 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2023 Yes, the beds in the second bedroom are fine. I even climbed up into the top bunk to see how comfortable it is. I'm 6'0 and was not cramped up top. If you're just using the lower bunk there should be no problem.
HawaiiUK Posted January 26, 2023 #7 Share Posted January 26, 2023 We've used the 2-bed twice (Star and Dawn) and have booked in the Jade for this year for me, my husband and adult daughter (She was a teenager on the Star). The only issue she mentioned last year on the Dawn was not knowing whether it was morning or not. For the next cruise she'll either have the TV on set to the bridge, or more likely will bring her 'sunrise' clock. We love the space the 2-bed provides and wish this was an option on other ships.
