HMSDingy Posted March 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Has anybody ever stayed in an inside cabin on a lower deck? On our last cruise onboard the Dawn, we had an inside cabin on the Aloha deck. Are the rooms similar on the lower decks? I'm looking to book on the Crown and if the cabins in the lower decks are similar to those aboove, then I figure to save a few bucks. After all, we only used the cabin to sleep, wash and change.
Moondawgie Posted March 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2006 To me, all inside cabins are the same. Once in there, you don't know where you are. To save $$$, I'd do it again. Enjoy.
TorontoTL Posted March 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2006 I stayed in an inside cabin on the Dawn on the Plaza deck and loved it. This is despite the fact that our last cruise before that had been a minisuite. I would definitely book another Plaza deck inside again. On the Dawn there are a couple of different layouts for the inside cabins, on the Crown I think the insides will all be basically the same as I believe that is how they are on the other Grand Class ships. Go ahead and book one lower down and save the money. I also loved the convenience of being able to walk out of my cabin and to the dinning room for breakfast and dinner. chrysalis Posted March 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Been in insides on both the Plaza and Emerald decks and on the higher decks, and, by far, love the lower decks the best. They are just so darn convenient and quiet.
