Pre-booking in-cabin Canapés, how are they, worth the money?

I have a few hundred on on-board credit, from the casino.

I see that I can pre-book in-cabin food and beverages, using this credit.

How are the Canapes, deserts, and other offerings? 

Are they worth the money, do you all ever order them?

Any suggestions, I get drinks in casino, so was thinking of where to spend for cabin convivence.

We order the wine and fruit basket for every cruise. Also the water bottles. It's a great snack to have in the room. Plus I am diabetic (controlled by proper diet/exercise, no meds) so sometimes I just need a small fruit to hold me over until meal time.

I'm a Type 1 Diabetic, so this is on my mind too.
