MDR Reservations?

If I were you, I'd stay where you are in AQ. My understanding is your dad is trying to move up to AQ. If he doesn't win his bid, don't sweat it. Just plan to dine in the MDRs each night as a walk-up with your father. When you board, speak to the Blu maitre d to let them know you won't be dining there for the duration. Also speak to a MDR maitre d to see if there's a way to reserve a set time for you to dine early with him. No matter what, it's going to work out. Enjoy your cruise!

You know what, your correct, things will fall in place eventually.  I decided to keep your advice, keep my AQ and keep his move up and somehow things will work out, thank you!!

Your MDR reservations mean nothing since you are assigned to Blu, which doesn't have reservations. Since you don't plan to eat at Blu, you need to let the Maitre D there know and they will arrange for you to eat in the MDR.
