The last time I cruised on NCL, I was allowed to smoke a cigar on ships with Spice H2O on the starboard side near the bar.

Has that changed?

I believe that is still allowed, also depending on ship some have a cigar lounge also. Pool deck smoking areas is fine too

The answer has not changed since your asked this same question yesterday.

NCL from the Breakaway: "SMOKING POLICY: Smoking cigarette and E-cigarette onboard are only permitted in the designated areas (Waves, Deck 15 FWS (portside) and Spice Bar, Deck 16 Aft (starboard side), or in the Casino while playing. Pipes, Cigar smoking and tobacco chewing is strictly not permitted in the casino area. Smoking of any kind is prohibited in staterooms and balconies. A Cleaning fee of $250 is going to be applied to the account of the guests who violated this policy. Cigar smoking is only allowed in the Humidor on Deck 8, Mid. All other areas are non-smoking. The use of Hookah pipe is not permitted onboard.

Ship's have policies on where CIGARS can be smoked. The OP is sailing on the Breakaway where Cigar smoking is not allowed on the pool deck nor Spice H20.

Hi Don,

Just noticed your posts about being on the Trans-Atlantic cruise. Hope you and Barbara have a wonderful time!....a number of the amigos and amigas will be cruising on a 7 Day Bermuda cruise on Prima during the same time as you. (Jerry and Cheryl, Mike and Edna, and myself and Melitta. The cruise is a bit pricey but we all felt we really wanted to see the new ship....wishing you and Barbara a safe and fun filled cruise!

Hey Joe....

How is everything with you and Melitta?  That's great that all of you are cruising together again.  We would love to do the Prima, but Barbara hates the Bermuda cruses.  She likes a lot of sea days and waking up each day in a different port.

We decided to try the Transatlantic....pretty good price (lots of sea days and we do have one day in Bermuda.  Barbara has never been to Europe and I have only gone to Europe twice on a business trip.

It's a 16 day cruise leaving from NYC.  Only bad thing is we have to fly back from Rome.

I'll send you an email this week.

Regards to all the amigos and amigas!

Don
