Aussie Jeep Posted February 19, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2023 Just spent 7 days on the Carnival Luminosa. Yes the ship is old and not fully fitted out as a normal Carnival ship but it was certainly a great ship. The staff, The Cruise Director, Simon London, was awesome. Simon and his team made sure there were plenty of great activities. The Luminosa Band was one of the best I have experienced. Thank you Calvin, KoKo, Ellison, Tom, and the other band members. DJ Goa kept every dancing and happy on the Lido deck with a great choice of music I had read some terrible reviews on other sites but just wanted to say we had a great week. Ship was very clean, rooms were well attended, Lido Buffet was great. Dining room staff were terrific. Food was 7 out of 10 but was fully satisfactory. Would happily sail on her again Thank you

gkbiiii Posted February 19, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2023 So 7-10 on food, for a "journey's voyage," is the best Carnival can do?
CruiseAdict218 Posted February 19, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 19, 2023 Curious what on the ship is considered old? Same age as Carnival Dream.

I assume that means "Not a mega ship with all the newest toys"
