jules815 Posted February 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2023 Just found out we're being invited to a wedding in Ft. Lauderdale in April 2024. Thinking as long as we're down there, might be nice to do a cruise as well. We'll be on Seascape in September. Does MSC offer incentives for booking on board like RC does? Not sure if it would be worth waiting or if we should secure a room now.

Not sure if it would be worth waiting or if we should secure a room now. I booked a cruise while onboard in October and the only advantage I saw was an additional $ 25 onboard credit. That was for an Inside Fantastica cabin. The prices were the same online when I checked after I got home, other than the additional small OBC. peder Posted February 20, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2023 We didn't think there was any real benefit to booking onboard. Prices could be higher by the time you're onboard, nullifying any credit you receive while booking onboard.
jules815 Posted February 21, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted February 21, 2023 Well it turns out that MSC won't work for us because we'll need to sail on a Sunday. Looking at other options and leaning towards a 6-day on Caribbean Princess. It would be a new line for us with a couple of new ports as well.
