Rare Bound4Bermuda Posted February 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2023 So, I just canceled an excursion once I realized the beaches on Grand Turk are walkable and free. On the Carnival site, in the Activities & Services section, I clicked Edit Order and removed the excursion, and it deleted from the site. However, I didn’t get an email confirmation about the refund. When purchasing, it immediately charged my credit card and sent a confirmation email. Does canceling it just take longer? It’s been about an hour. groundloop Posted February 21, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2023 (edited) Yep, it's just like most everywhere - they're very fast about taking your money but take their sweet time to give it back. I can't exactly remember how long it took the last time I cancelled an excursion, but I do know that it was on the order of days. If it takes longer you can certainly phone Carnival to request the email confirmation. Also, charges back to your credit card typically take 7 to 10 business days.
