Fouremco Posted February 22, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2023 Here are Carnival's requirements, updated less than two weeks ago: https://unitedcruises.cruisehelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360045307851-Carnival-Cruise-Line-Travel-Requirements-Safety-Protocols Additionally, if you are flying to the US, you are required to have proof of vaccination, although it appears that few airlines are actually asking to see proof. But you don't want to be the ones caught out. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html As you are writing on the Canadian Cruisers board, I'll assume that you are Canadian. If that's the case, she is able to download her proof of vaccination from your provincial health website. I don't have all of the websites at the tip of my fingers, but if you are in Ontario, here's the link: https://www.ontario.ca/page/proof-covid-19-vaccination

We were on Carnival in January, they asked if we we're vaccinated but didn't ask for any proof. Also, you can download a new proof of vaccination if you lost the old one. https://www.ontario.ca/get-proof/ That's assuming you are from Ontario, otherwise check your provincial website. Eggfrmr Posted February 22, 2023 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2023 Can we use our orginal vaccine cards, or do we have to have something downloaded?
Fred&Lily Posted February 22, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2023 We're just back from an 11 day Caribbean cruise Friday 17th. and were never asked for proof of Vax at any time. Not at YYZ and not on the ship and not on any of the islands we visited.

It is a single document that lists all the data commonly required by foreign governments and has both the provincial and federal government logos. For cruises out of the US it is unlikely that proof will have to be produced. But if needed, using the document designed for international travel makes the most sense. Ex-Airbalancer Posted February 23, 2023 #9 Share Posted February 23, 2023 For up coming TA in April , on Celebrity we need to vaccinate and do a self test 2 days before we will be getting our next booster 2 weeks before we get on the cruise
JustCruzin77 Posted February 23, 2023 #10 Share Posted February 23, 2023 For Celebrity and probably most other ships, you are not required to be vaccinated or show proof of vaccination to board the ship. However if your travel to a Port that does require Proof of Vaccination, you will not be allowed to disembark the ship. If you are vaccinated, it's best to carry the proper documents with you, even if you don't need them. According to Celebrity, you will need to be vaccinated to travel to these destinations: Galapagos Itineraries Australia New Zealand Itineraries Transatlantic/Transpacific Crossings Select Caribbean Itineraries (those visiting Turks & Caicos) Select Central and South America Itineraries (those visiting Colombia, Brazil, and Chile) I did travel to Turks & Caicos in January on Carnival and I am vaccinated, how ever I was not asked to show any proof while boarding the ship or disembarking at Grand Turk, but my Ship Card would have my vaccination status.
