OBC for Excursions

In our experience we’ve been able to use our OBC to book shore excursions before the cruise. Our credit card was never charged unless we used up all of our OBC. We normally sail with OBC from military, shareholder, future cruise deposit and Princess OBC promotion when booked.

We recently made our final payment and have a large OBC between the two of us.   My questions is, if we book Princess excursions now, will they use our OBC for payment or charge our credit cards.   Thanks!

You can see that when you go to book it.
It will first take OBC from each account and it will show you that.  If you don’t see that they’re using OBC, then book once OB.

Some have a problem, but I haven’t.  Yiu would unselect OBC if you didn’t want to use it.  Try it.

If the OBC is showing in the personalizer payment area then the booking  will use it first. Though keep in mind that the web site will do so by each individual. Not an issue if the OBC is evenly split. But if it is mostly under one person you will find the other person having to pay by CC, even if plenty of OMB is left under one passenger. If that is the case you can book via customer service and they can balance the OBC  for the excursions.
