Best Cruise Line for Wife & I (both smokers)

Been on several cruises with the family and just want to go with the wife this time. I was wondering what cruise line caters to smokers more than others.  I remember the days where it was either port or starboard side, on several decks (and on the balcony!) but now they put us in the outer most places tucked in far corners huddles together a football team.  Although I understand why, it's best to know and plan upfront before booking a cruise.

We don't need all the bells and whistles of the big ships (slides, arcades, laser tag, VR, etc.)  and would like a more relaxed experience, but also don't want the lights out at 8pm either. Would prefer casual anytime dining, no dress up required.  Don't want to prebook shows. Just want to enjoy a nice cruise.

Does such a ship exist? I know this is asking a lot.

The last Oceana cruise I sailed on had a smokers lounge as well as the standard outdoor areas.  Faulty memory here but I think some Princess ships also have smoker lounges.

Holland has recently announced that they will be allowing smoking in casinos during play at all times and designating a separate area for smoke-free play. Otherwise it is outdoor smoking only.

Thank you all for the replies.  We have no problem with not smoking in our cabin, or even indoors, since we've been used to that now for years with traveling.  The trekking to a remote corner at the top of the ship (on one deck only) or to enclosed glass rooms almost makes us not want to cruise any more.  We will have to do a lot more research.

FWIW.....I have not cruised on Princess since the pandemic but on some of the newer Princess ships there was a nice smoking area at the back of the ship. They had both coffee and bar service there, too.

On RCCL, there is a smoking area outside somewhere, usually up on the pool deck and you can catch a smoke in the casino.

Its not so easy anymore.......

I was on the Ruby Princess recently and they had a smoking lounge as well as smoking along sections of the starboard promenade deck. There was also a more enclosed smoking section on the Lido deck. I think the casino also had smoking with some limitations.

Deck 17 aft on the newer Princess ships (Regal, Royal, Enchanted, et al) is the friendliest spot on the ship, because it’s the smoking area! They have nice couches and chairs. There’s usually drink service. There’s a full bar one deck below. Great spot!
