Does anyone have any advice if we hope to book loungers in Sanctuary on the Discovery Princess?

We were just on discovery a week ago and we just went straight up to 18 as soon as we boarded to book. The weather was not very warm so it was not super busy every day, but there was definitely a few days it was sold out for loungers. We had a cabana every day and those didn't seem to be full any day.

Board as early as possible and run directly to the Sanctuary. And good luck if you dont have priority boarding, although if Discovery is on the west coast right now maybe thats easier than in the Carribean, where spots seem to be taken by the B2Bers

Wow, as first timers on Princess doesn’t sound like we have much hope!

I wonder if being on the Discovery LA to Vancouver short pacific coast cruise will increase our chances as maybe some will find it too cold?   Though full sun is out for me - I burn.  Do you have to choose the exact lounger or is it just a “pass” you get?

Back to Back cruisers, and those who have any early boarding will get the chance to book up the loungers.  And, it sounds like there might be a number of back-to-back cruisers on the way to  Alaska.

You do get to choose your exact loungers.

Yes, the cooler itinerary might help.

And, if you do not mind spending, you would probably find Sanctuary Cabanas available.

Not as many people want to spend that much.

I haven't been in the Sanctuary on the Discovery,  but we love the sanctuary!

If you want to escape the crowds and 'cruise' atmosphere, then this feels like you are up on deck of a big private yacht.
