Help regarding "UPGrade"

We are to board the Discovery Princess Saturday.  Today we received a notice of Upgrade.

Under Stateroom Documents Notes it reads Rsrve Collection Ms W/All club Amenities Extended Angled Balc

Cabin is R244 close to center elevators.  We are unable to get onto our Medallon App except to see we are now "Blue".

We were already Green before upgrade.  Appreciate you response since we are unable to get thru to Princess.  We know this is a better location then our original cabin and  glad to have received the upgrade.

Try exiting out of the Medallion App completely and re-opening it.  Press on "Profile" in the lower right hand corner, and the new, upgraded cabin number should show for the voyage.  

 

Don't worry too much about yellow, blue, green on the app.  What's important is that you got upgraded and it reflects in your Cruise Personalizer online through the Princess website.  The port agents don't even check your boarding pass color at embarkation.  If there's a problem, the agent checking you in will be able to fix what's wrong with your check-in info.  There could just be a glitch on the MedallionApp server. 

 

There are no special health protocols for sailings from LA to Mexico, so it can't be because Princess added new health protocols that you have to submit proof of.

Going to Blue right before your cruise is not unusual.  Congrats on the upgrade.

According to the Deck Plan for Discovery Princess there is no R244.  Are you sure that is the room identifier given to you?

I’ll add..print your new luggage tags with the correct cabin number, or write the correct one on your current tags before you hand off to the porters.

Was wondering the same thing as there isn't a R244 on the Discovery deck plan. Was also wondering how you received the notification(email?) and from whom(Princess?) The wording of the notification with abbreviations and odd capitalizations looked a bit strange. Hopefully it was legit.

Our group is all blue now. It’s typical and doesn’t seem to mean anything. Congrats on the upgrade. See you on board. Hope to see you at the meet and greet Sunday 11am in Take Five.
