Have you done the "Private Photo Session"?

Recommended Posts

We did it. It was good the guy was good and pleasant, many pictures. Many levels to buy, anywhere to small amount to a lot.  You can buy a drive, so you can make your own book and not buy theirs. some pressure to buy something but not high pressure. They take a lot f pictures so many are really good, he kicks out the bad.  You can do it and walk away, if you are willing to walk do it.

Thanks, very helpful!  Was the session in the photographer's studio, or somewhere on the ship, or off the ship, or ...?  About how long did the session last?

We did on CCL years ago and liked it.  They set multiple sessions and in a number of settings around the ship.  Yes, sticker shock when it comes time to buy anything, but they are some cherished shots of our family.

I understand on RCCL, you go schedule your time(s) once onboard.  They have multiple places to shoot, including in ports like CocoCay.

Just understand what (if any) pics are included in the session price and how much additional ones might be....and how this sessions interacts (if at all) with any other photo package you might get for the regular shots.

On Royal, the private photo session pictures cannot be included with a regular photo package.

We did it back in 2017. Total sticker shock. At first we said no thanks, but went back and bought the smallest pkg. 10 digitals for $500

Best decision I ever made ❤

We did it in a studio. Took about 30 minutes,  then another 30 to review a few days later
