Rare YVRteacher Posted March 31, 2023 Author #252 Share Posted March 31, 2023 Here are the Freestyle Dailies for the second week, March 19-26, 2023. I am missing a couple days but they didn’t vary much from the first week.

Rare YVRteacher Posted March 31, 2023 Author #257 Share Posted March 31, 2023 For @mlgb i think you will like this one! They had cold soup every day. I hadn’t noticed it before. It was always in the same place in the Observation Lounge on the Starboard side in between the coffee and the food at the station closest to the bow.

We will be on the Breakaway out of NOLA. We live near Seattle, so we are very excited for warmer weather and the sun!

We did it in February 2022 as well, but with only about 1,000 passengers on board. While it was nice having a very uncrowded ship, we both thought it felt a bit creepy at times. We once walked the entire length of Deck 12 and didn't see anyone, not even any workers.

It's our spring break, and it looks like from my other cruise social media page that it's other people's spring break as well.

So entertaining plus a trip down memory lane for me. I am going on HAL San Diego to YVR and then side by side on Grand Princess to Anchorage (May 6 is my 3 free hours in YVR between cruises). mlgb Posted March 31, 2023 #263 Share Posted March 31, 2023 For those non-drinkers in need of a free smoothie, do grab a glass to enjoy the chilled soups up in the Observation Lounge! You don't have to use a soup cup!

Rare YVRteacher Posted April 1, 2023 Author #266 Share Posted April 1, 2023 A few random photos from the Bliss You can pay for a Behind the Scenes Tour through Shore Excursions. The paid tour includes the bridge and engine room while the free Latitudes tour does not. Where was the quality control for these tomatoes? Surely there were ripe ones on board! Cruise Critic friend and I were wondering why we didn’t get seats with our names on them for Six, but we aren’t the grandpas of the understudy. This is the photo that got me in trouble on the behind the scenes tour. Find the artwork! Carpet in the Observation Lounge needs a little repair Every day we were in port this team of window fixers was working on the Observation Lounge windows. Rare YVRteacher Posted April 15, 2023 Author #269 Share Posted April 15, 2023 Remember my quest to find baskets in Mazatlan? Today I put up my travel basket wall: Cruise Critic friend helped me out via text from the other side of the continent!
Rare YVRteacher Posted April 15, 2023 Author #270 Share Posted April 15, 2023 These baskets are from NCL cruises to Panama, Nicaragua, Belize and Mexico. I look for baskets everywhere.

That dinner with the officers is BS. The people who were there and didn't want to be, no planned conversation, the service .... that dinner should have been special. Like you said - it's your upper tier guests who sail with you often and spend a lot of time and money with you; THEY should be treated like royalty! Sorry ... Did you get crepes on your cruise? I hope so!
